Volunteer: Morris Store VolunteerWelcome! Volunteers who help at our thrift stores may be able to assist with: -Customer service -Organizing store merchandise -Managing incoming donations -Cleaning These tasks may vary as our store needs vary. We ask volunteers to fulfill tasks that the store needs to be done that day, at the discretion of the store manager.
What To Expect: Volunteers are responsible for checking in and out of their shifts by using the iPad located in the main office. Work breaks can be taken as needed. If you are volunteering during the lunch hour, feel free to bring your own lunch or snacks, which can be kept in the office fridge. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. On your first day, the start of your shift will begin with orientation. Please be on time. Volunteering for a minimum of 3 hours per shift is required. If you are feeling sick, please stay home and reschedule your volunteer time once you have recovered. We encourage regular hand washing at all of our SVDP volunteer sites. Please feel free to wear a mask if you prefer.
Community Service Volunteers: We accept volunteers in need of community service hours on a case by case basis. No violent crimes.
